This is the royalty of teabreads and the recipe that started it all.


I use organic local wholemeal flour from a farm using Shire horses to work their land. Figs, apricots and sultanas are plumped in Earl Grey tea and mixed with toasted pecans to create a delicious and energy giving slice!  An apricot glaze makes this wholesome loaf irresistible.  Enjoy spread with some farmhouse butter.
